ArtHouse, Inc.

The folks at ArtHouse, Inc. provided fantastic art projects at a recent Rock-n-Tot event and were one of the stars of the show!

Their upcoming classes offer something for everyone and I strongly encourage you to participate (especially check out the All Ages Family Open Studio dates every third Saturday of the month!)

Youth & Family Studio Classes

Family Open Studios (all ages)

Every third Saturday of the month

$5 per person per hour

Kids under 2 free!

1 - 3 p.m.

January 17 - Printmaking

February 21 - Portraits

March 21 - Day of Clay

May 16 - Action Abstract Expressionism

Make art with your family members in the Art House studio with provided materials. (Children must be accompanied by an adult)

Kids Clay

January 22 - February 12

Thursday evenings for 4 weeks

Ages 9-12 yrs.

5:30-7 p.m

Instructor: Elizabeth Emery

Class fee: $75

All supplies included.

No experience necessary!

Play with clay while learning the proper techniques for creating sculptures and usable pots.  Decorate what you've made with stamps, paints, and glazes. 

 

Printmaking: Valentine's Day Card

January 24  - February 7

Saturday afternoons for 3 weeks

Ages 6-9 yrs

11 a.m. -1 p.m.

Instructor: Claudio Orso

Class fee: $70

All supplies included.

No experience necessary!

This will be an exciting, wild class.  Create your own unique Valentine's Day cards for your family and friends as you experiment with a variety of printing techniques -- stencils, foam relief, glue-gun relief, plexiglass engraving, and chine colle'.
